Is he a heavy sleeper? Does he sleep all night without waking at all?

I’m not who you were specifically asking, but my boys use Goodnites on occasion and I will say they are very thin and discreet when dry. But when wet, just like any other diaper, they swell when wet, it’s how they work. So on mornings when they are wet unless wearing baggy shorts it is very noticeable especially over tight thin pjs.

Do they seem to prefer the Goodnites or the regular diapers at night?

My youngest doesn’t really have a preference, but my older son prefers Goodnites when we have company in town but isn’t bothered by diapers when it’s just us.

As for the next question down, if we have company in, my oldest will change right away but if not, they both will wear them until changed or reminded to go change.

If they are elementary school age they should be able to manage it independently unless they have special needs.

At my son's 10 year check up the doctor asked about it, so I would assume until not until then at least.

Does he change as soon as he first wakes up or do you have to remind him to? At this age it is still common enough that it isn’t worrisome.
