I feel some kind of way about it because I do send my one married friend a Happy Anniversary message every year.
I'm not expecting it from every guest of course, but you would think my bridesmaids would say something. I guess I'm just type A and put important dates on my calendar.
Lol I know they see it on Facebook memories because I see it every year when I log in. Even my family forgets to say it so I guess it's not just a friend thing. Every one is busy right? Lol oh well.
What is your experience?
How old are you? Because frankly you sound to young to even be married.
Lol in my 30s.
Again. This thread has taught me to lower my friendship standards a bit. Lol lesson learned.
Funny thing just happened. My friend's job anniversary reminder just showed up on LinkedIn. I usually comment on these posts..happy job anniversary! Now, I won't because her 6 years at her job is not about me and I don't need to make it awkward. What if she hates her job? See I can learn. Lol
Separate from your age, you really need to work on your passive-aggressive tendencies.
Also, anyone (but particularly a grown-ass adult) who uses "LOL" three times in one post is a frivolous nitwit.

The wedding party? Are you over 30? Bridesmaid responsibilities end after the wedding is over.
Several of my bridesmaids send a text on our August anniversary. It’s nice. I’m 47 and we all live scattered around the country.

Anonymous wrote:No. It would make me feel weird and pressured to remember theirs even though I could not care less.

When it's a couple's anniversary, the rest of us don't truly know what's going on with their relationship. If they're going through a rough patch, a "happy anniversary" note isn't going to help and might even be upsetting. If they're happy in their marriage, they don't need me to tell them that.
