LIAR
You know Carson has 1 cop car outside every school day ..
Yes there were three there.
Yes, it belongs to the school resource officer. What pyramid did your kids go to?
Oakton, the year my kid went it was at Herndon but run by Mr. Barrows who works at Carson for the after school program.
Why are you complaining then? Your kid went, your kid is still alive. It's all good. I am guessing your child went to either Crossfield or Navy.
We did encounter some discplinary problems during the camp, but it was a good experience overall. They have a number of excusions from the camp to movie theaters, a water park, and a nats game that had an additional cost assocaited with them for the kids who went.
I'm responding to whomever shouted "LIAR", i merely pointed out that yes there are cops who park outside schools in general (such as carson), but having 3 of them was a surprise.

Pretty obvious they aren't trying to make it convenient for Cooper or Longfellow kids. Hughes would be more centrally located.
Give it a rest. The kids who sign up for this camp are not the ones you seem to think will attend - when my DD attended, it was all her friends and they had no complaints (they go to Carson).
You’re conflating me with other posters. I’m pointing out that they’ve gone out of their way to make this a rather unattractive option for Cooper and Longfellow kids, given the distance to Carson. They could have come up with a different grouping of middle schools or at least put the camp at Hughes.
Putting the camp at Hughes would ensure no one would want to go. They’ve disguised it by putting it at Carson.

Sounds like you’re implying Carson families wouldn’t send their kids to a camp at Hughes. But Carson is too far away for Cooper and Longfellow families unless they just want to sign their kids up for “long bus ride camp.”
There are a lot of at risk youth at Hughes and Herndon.
