Does it change my view of Trump? I already thought he was evil. So, that didn’t change. But it added to my view that he must have dementia to be doing something like this that has the potential to alienate many people who might have voted for him. If anything it gives me more hope for the midterms.
The Pope’s response to Trump has been impressive and has made me like him even more. The cardinals chose well this time.
Agree. This is kind of like the Streisand effect. It puts the spotlight on Pope Leo who comes off as sane and measured.
I do think Trump thinks he is a god or godlike. His ego is astonishing. I've never witnessed anything like this in my lifetime. There is utterly no humility.
