Stars 33 LB > Pride 33 Red
Interesting. These teams have played three times this year, twice in a fall tournament and once in NGLL. Pride has won two of the three match ups, including handing Stars their only loss in the NGLL last weekend.
As a Pride parent this is very misleading. The games were all very close, but they have a much better overall team. We have 3 girls that get to shoot and that is very frustrating. In the last game we had one player with 5-6 goals while they had multiple girls involved. I will be trying out for other teams this summer and I know that other girls on our team will do the same.
Different year but my daughter left Pride mid-season for the same reason. Run and don’t look back!

My guess it's because, SUPRISE... they aren't an all-star team. My daughter is on this team and in total they have like 20 girls. People on here are wild and aggressive.

Right, it is pretty cool to be part of a supportive team that's willing to accommodate athletes and their families. It's also really cool to see the team's growth and development over the past year, going from a 3–5 record in the NGLL last season to finishing 11–0 as league champions just a few weeks ago (in the same division as the other VA teams previously mentioned). Even cooler and especially fun to watch the balanced team play, with 7–8 different goal scorers each game, along with a dominant defensive performance resulting in an 8–0 shutout of the top-seeded team in the championship game.
So yes, while Loudoun may not be the most convenient location for families in Arlington, the OP did ask about the 2033 3D VA/Mid-Atlantic team, which absolutely does exist. It won't be the right fit for every family, but it will be exciting to see how these girls compete this summer and continue to develop as a team.
Anonymous wrote:The 2033 3D team is not "combined for certain things." They are a full-time team who compete together for all things. That is why they are the "Mid-Atlantic" Team. They play together, period. This is the same group of girls who competed in the STJ winter league and all tournaments together for the past year. This team is also ranked higher than the other previously mentioned VA teams (if that is factor of consideration). Any interested player can practice in VA, with the VA contingent of the team (or MD, if that is closer).
If anyone has questions about practice locations, they should reach out to the coach and not listen to assumptions from a misinformed internet forum.
