Interesting. These teams have played three times this year, twice in a fall tournament and once in NGLL. Pride has won two of the three match ups, including handing Stars their only loss in the NGLL last weekend.

As a Pride parent this is very misleading. The games were all very close, but they have a much better overall team. We have 3 girls that get to shoot and that is very frustrating. In the last game we had one player with 5-6 goals while they had multiple girls involved. I will be trying out for other teams this summer and I know that other girls on our team will do the same.

Different year but my daughter left Pride mid-season for the same reason. Run and don’t look back!

It seems you’re happy to have escaped.

Was it a positive change or was it a relief to just move on from the previous club?

Do you plan on staying with the current team? Are you headed to other club’s tryouts this summer?

In your opinion, was it the club, coach, teammates, or better gameplay (less hero ball) that made the switch worth the it.

I think a lot of us are in a similar situation you were in.

My guess it's because, SUPRISE... they aren't an all-star team. My daughter is on this team and in total they have like 20 girls. People on here are wild and aggressive.

So this is basically a move to have enough kids for one team because you don't have enough at each location. What happens if one location eventually has enough? the other location continues to just fill in? Sorry just keeps me kind of skeptical of the future of this team.

Right, it is pretty cool to be part of a supportive team that's willing to accommodate athletes and their families. It's also really cool to see the team's growth and development over the past year, going from a 3–5 record in the NGLL last season to finishing 11–0 as league champions just a few weeks ago (in the same division as the other VA teams previously mentioned). Even cooler and especially fun to watch the balanced team play, with 7–8 different goal scorers each game, along with a dominant defensive performance resulting in an 8–0 shutout of the top-seeded team in the championship game.

So yes, while Loudoun may not be the most convenient location for families in Arlington, the OP did ask about the 2033 3D VA/Mid-Atlantic team, which absolutely does exist. It won't be the right fit for every family, but it will be exciting to see how these girls compete this summer and continue to develop as a team.

Imagine getting so jammed up that you need to start posting B division stats on a message boards. Saying shit like "A dominant defensive performance" when talking about 10 year old girls. Clearly your daughter plays on the team and this is the most unhinged promotion I have ever seen. Ill go ahead and cross this off my list as I cant spend every weekend with people who refer to their 10 year old as an "athlete" LOLLLLL. You all need to get a grip.

This team is also ranked higher than the other previously mentioned VA teams (if that is factor of consideration). Any interested player can practice in VA, with the VA contingent of the team (or MD, if that is closer).

If anyone has questions about practice locations, they should reach out to the coach and not listen to assumptions from a misinformed internet forum.

LOL these 3D moms are spiraling. They are not in the VA rankings because they are not a VA team. Their state says "XX" on USlax because its an all star team made up of kids from 2 different states. So they "do everything together period" but then you call each group its own "contingent". That is what we call a contradicting statement. Half the team has 3DVA jerseys and half have 3DMaryland jerseys. Never seen one team with 2 different jerseys and 2 different practice locations 1.5 hours apart either. You are trying to act like this is not an all star team in hopes of getting enough girls to come out and have VA break off and do their own thing, which is 10000% the plan. God Speed

How many kids make up this mid-atlantic team roster? And every single kid on this super supportive team that is driving miles to meet up with each other is getting the playing time to develop? I get that you don't have enough kids in either location to have a stand alone team yet, but still seems not the best situation to play with only half or less of your team most of the year, and then go to a tournament where 7-8 players score all the goals.

Must be a large team then. To have enough kids to practice in two diff locations?

What are you even saying? None of the players play part-time..

Half of the team live in VA and primarily practices there, and the other half lives in MD, and primarily practices there. They all play games together as ONE team. There are no separate games.

A full time team made up of two other full time teams playing part time for said full time team.

3D is a good option for those in Loudon. Pride will no longer exist in Loudon after this year.
Is the 3D team worth the extra long commute from Arlington to RavenTek Park vs something closer? I guess there is only one way to find out. Try out!
