Any Democratic politician would. Why should we support some rich guy who has been trying to buy his way into an elected office for years? Trone needs to get a clue about how much people instinctively don’t want wealthy business owners to constantly be running for an elected office. Their wealth doesn’t give them some inherent right to lead our democracy yet they can crush any opposition through massive spending. He is a part of the same corrupt system that enables Trump in the first place. He cannot possibly be the solution.

Yep, I saw the ad a few times. It's not complicated, and it's certainly not aimed at WV women (because they can't vote for him). His opponent is a woman, and he wants to depict himself as being the champion for women's rights. It talks about a clinic for women that he founded when WV banned abortion rights.

Is there a link to this speech somewhere? The only thing google turned up is a social media post from an unknown person running against Trone and Delaney. It would help to have the full context for the statement.

I will vote for David Trone. McLean Delaney is a Trumper in disguise. We cannot have her running on the Democratic ticket yet all her votes would be republican. She would be another Fetterman.
