How are they going to provide adequate follow up care (esp if some issues arise post op) when you're back in the US?
What care do you think US surgeons are doing? I’ve had surgery in the US btw.
Most SK surgeons recommend staying for 2+ weeks after surgery. While there, they will be much more on top of your care, including deswelling and healing techniques than any US surgeon I’ve ever been to, as well as removing stitches etc. After that, they will send you hope with extra meds and lotions, but there is really nothing for any surgeon to do, other than wait for full healing and re assess. SK clinics use WhatsApp and will respond to you immediately btw. There is far more communication and care IME. In the situation where a revision is needed, you will need to go back. Unlike US surgeons, they won’t try to charge you an extra anesthesia fee either.
The other wonderful thing is that culturally they are much more modest and respectful, and don’t give god complex/salesman vibes like US surgeons do.
