Wow, you broke protocol by not saying Connecticut or New England instead of Yale.
Now that you acted all weird by the mention of Yale, I guess I'll have to go back to it.

That seems expected given the GPA. What's the admit GPA line in Naviance for the school?
Yes, even at our "Big3" which has deflated GPAs (class average of about a 3.5) the UVA line is a very high 3.8.
As such, all admits outside of ED kids have also been admitted to Ivies in recent years.
Isn’t the Naviance gpa at the end of 12th grade? So 11th grade GPAs at application time would be a little lower?

My kid applied because of no supplementals. His counselor recommended he apply RD to show another semester of grades (he had a rough second semester freshman year ending with a C in History and B- in Latin) but has had straight As since. He only took two years of Latin in HS.
3.85 uw (private), 7 APs, 1550 SAT. NMSF. In state. Applied to SEAS and was accepted. We are very surprised.

Thanks for sharing. How did you compute the midyear GPA? Did you just weigh each credit by half? Thanks.
