The Yucatan is one of the safest states. Personally, I've not visited yet researched it recently. The latest data I saw said the murder rate in Yucatan is lower than in the US.
But why not just…pick somewhere else? It’s like buying a car with bad crash test data. There are so many other options - why risk it?
