Yea I don’t know where all these low paid US born men are crawling under. And what they were all doing between there birth and age 50 in the US where money is like dirt under your feet.
I had an immigrant come from Wayfair to assemble furniture last week. The dude says he was making $120k working part time. He came to the US 2 years ago

A 20k difference is nothing. That is not the issue. The issue is that he is too old and you are 39 and running out of time. Go to a sperm bank if you wanna get, but you better move your family or get a second job because you’re not gonna be able to raise one on your salary in this area.

This^. If he was young 30 year old making $130k with potential to advance, had a good credit score and no debt or responsibility, he would be financially fine.
He is 48, divorced, recovered alcoholic, adoptive dad of two with low chance to improve finances and may have debt and/or bad credit and child support.

My husband makes half my income so I don't think that's a deal breaker. He has more flexibility and takes on more at home and with childcare (like with school delayed and possibly closing tomorrow, he will handle it). And yes, you can raise a child on a combined income of $250-300k ::

I would be fine dating a man who is exact my age or slightly younger if he makes same money. But it’s totally unacceptable that OP is 10 years younger and he’s already at height of his earning potential and is making less.
Marriage is a financial contract: is he a good partner ? Can he pull off more weight on the house front while you both continue working full time ?

In this town you won't find a single woman to date you. At least not the ones on this forum. Unless you make min $250k you stand no chance. Even at $250k you won't be competitive.
Then the college you attended matter as well. And God forbid you skipped grad school well you are just illiterate at that point
Hopefully they want someone who make $250k and spend $150k as opposed to someone who makes $250k spends $260k and shows up in a G wagon.
Hopefully they are intelligent enough to know not every high income is good with money as well.
Maybe just make a guy who makes $100k but maxes out his Roth and 401k may be attractive.
