This year VDA has managed to recruit the bulk of those players. Some years it’s more spread out. But for those players it has little to do with the club they play for, even though parents think it does. Those same players could be at any number of other clubs and land the same D1’s. Because they are the best 40-50 soccer players in the area.

that actually sounds frightening/disturbing. Its not that serious is it? Players stalking a TDs wife is not on my bingo card yet here we are in 2026Anonymous wrote:BP wife is a great trainer, all that "research" is crap. One player who was out to get her. You can't please everyone. She trains plenty of non vda players as well. Sucks she doesn't have time for your kid, keep whining.

Only team that I have seen that has had similar commits is Richmond. They have a few players that are 2028 grad year, but all their 2027s committed to D1. Still not as many as VDA though.
VDA hasn’t won any championships. What they have is a big connection at the top org that oversees ECNL and all these other agencies which business move around it like TDS, etc.

I think that’s why ML and QP allow BP’s wife to train all the VDA kids and essentially double‑dip. It seems like a major conflict of interest—she trains the VDA players while families may feel pressured to join her sessions to ensure their kids get the same level of attention. The whole situation feels really messy.
How do VDA players balance training with her as well as training with HP? Do both?
