They do stem research and they gave me lots of money. Pre-med DD's statement when HS counselor asked.

Yes. DC went to admitted student days, then made a choice. But never did give us parents a specific reason… so vibes.

Well- paid $900 deposit May 1. Then got off an Ivy waitlist May 10.

May 1 was not the final choice for so many of my kid’s friends. The real decisions came later as it was a big year of WL and people rolling off of them.

DD did not get into her ED school, has gotten into a few target schools already, and has 5 RD colleges to hear back from still in March. I think in her head, she has a priority list, but if she doesn't get into #1 - 3, we will be on the road for accepted students days all of April.

DC got into a top contender EA however there are 7 RD results out and at this point they want to wait to see where it all shakes out. They did the work and don’t see the point in rushing or pulling apps now.

Plan to see as many as we can after admittances over spring break. They’re all in the northeast.
