I've never had it!
So because no one you know has had it in "years and years" it's non-existent? You're one of those people that unless it's affected you and yours it's not a thing.
Say no more. We get it.
Not sick so no test.
No one on my family every got covid... and we had two kids in college in 2020!

Most people don't test for it but probably had it. You probably had it but didn't test.

Do you test? I almost never do, but when I had it this winter with what was a very mild case, I tested because I had a sniffle and needed to see an older person with cancer and I was stunned when it popped positive. I didn’t even feel sick - I felt identical to typical allergies that I get. Maybe I’ve had it more times.
People are behaving more rationally in public. People with weak immune systems, in highly-contagious locations (doctors offices), or feeling ill mask up in public. I’ve been sick much less - I got my case from a family member in the house who also hadn’t seemed very sick.

I haven't even had a cold this winter and now this has me totally leveled. My doc prescribed Paxlovid but with insurance it was $295! Forget it. I'll just clear the virus myself.
UGH.
What is everyone doing that they keep getting Covid? Are you immunocompromised? Worn down?
This isn't a weird flex, I just don't understand the extreme variability and incidence in severity among different people.
I haven't been able to get a Covid positive even when I desperately wanted the Golden Ticket to stay home from work![]()
I have never tested positive or been sick either.
Me as well. I've had all the boosters and mask in high volume areas.
