I find the pods use SO MUCH detergent, which really amps up the scent. If you use the amount of detergent you actually need, it's much less than the pods and thus less scent.
This actually makes me sad, because I love the "fresh laundry" scent haha.
Anonymous wrote:I'm another powder user. I stopped using liquid because of all of the plastic. Powder comes in a cardboard box. It's very difficult to find powder detergent. But when I find it, I buy at least two boxes so I always have some.
I have a top loader machine, and I put the powder in the same compartment that you put the liquid except that you pull out the the piece in the drawer where you're supposed to put the liquid. Once you pull out that little piece, you're left with the drawer with the hole in it. I've never had an issue with the powder not dissolving.
