If you are not poor then you buy the best clothing. The poor people would do this too but they cannot afford good clothing.
This is obvious. What question is asked here?

If a teenager is in all designer clothes but mom is in obvious inexpensive Walmart clothing or has rips or fades in her clothes.
If the parents are in designer clothing but the kids are in torn, ripped or too small clothing.
Do outsiders, people not within the immediate family, judge a family based on what the parents are wearing or what the children or teenagers are wearing?

Those pieces of clothing will be used for two months, tops, before they’re outgrown. I really hope they hand them down to next sibling. Even then…

A mom at a soccer game last fall was sporting over $30k in accessories on the side of her body I could see. I judged the heck out of her. Who needs three Cartier love bracelets and would wear them to a soccer field.
How could you even tell it’s 30k worth of accessories? I don’t think I have ever looked at someone’s bracelet so closely to see the designer and know it’s worth. The fact that you even noticed says something even though you feign you are unimpressed.

Walmart vs. designer? I could not care less if I tried.
