In the event anything changes, you can move then. But you’ll get notified in advance if that ever happens(I doubt it) Stay put for now for simplicity.

Trust is relative. How many individuals or companies do you trust to do the same?

I trust many companies and individuals more.

TSP is managed by an independent board. The staff reporting to that board operate back office / accounting systems and the TSP web site. They also contract operation of the various funds to other firms. Over time they might change which firm operates which fund, but such changes are invisible to TSP participants.

Arguing for the sake of arguing. Most of TSP funds are contracted out to BlackRock to manage. Is that better?

OP here. You say this as if that's better. There's an article today in the WSJ about how Blackrock got duped by some fake invoices.

And you really think BlackRock is the only one with issues? If you really believe that, yes, you should definitely move your money out of TSP. Why bother asking here?

OMG leave it in the TSP. Razor thin expense margins, amazing returns. Can't beat the power of a fund that size.

DH just retired and will be moving about 75% out of his tsp and leave the remaining in the g fund. TSP fees are not as low as the once were and there are other options outside of TSP.
