No. Hard to believe but it was 10 years ago now. Every so often the shock of when we learned still makes me reel. She survived 4 months. She'd been sick and looking for answers for 8 months before being diagnosed in the ER.
I'm involved in an indivisible group and UU church and I do actually also do some office admin stuff for a family member's business, but not like a job where I HAVE to do tasks at specific times. The doom scrolling also got my sleep times out of whack so I am working on correcting that because I have to get up early enough on Sunday to actually GO to a service. Plus it's February. Plus Im an introvert, the knd who does fine with people (it took me years to get there) but hard to push myself out the door. Plus, when I see disinformation on social media (mostly rw but sometimes lw) I am the kind of person who is compelled to correct them (politely). Yeah, I know, that doesn't change people's minds.

Everything is fine. I remember during Trump's first term people were saying the same thing. The world is ending, democracy is over, blah blah blah. They were wrong then and they are wrong now.
