This is what some do not grasp. There are too many deer in Arlington for the available food and not enough natural predators to keep the ecosystem in balance. Reducing the deer herd size to a level that keeps the ecosystem in balance is important.


+1. In Long Island, they cull the deer population and donate the venison meat to soup kitchens. Deer chili. It works.


They do that here too. Great program.

A buck rammed my car and almost flipped it over. Another instance a deer jumped over my car. It was on a hill beside the sunken road I was driving along

Both were extremely scary situations

I visit friends in NJ where the deer population has grown significantly. Groups of deer literally roam suburban streets chomping on trees. My friend had her car totaled a couple of years ago after running into one.

Without natural predators, the population has to be controlled by man.
