Yes she’s so forgotten.
She has millions and is absolutely free to give away as much of her own money as she would like, even to the point that her standard of living is equitable to the middle class if she so chooses. She could fly in coach or just rent a small flat (because she wouldn’t want to be one of those elitist white supremacist home owners) and then give away the rest to families who need it more. And that would be noble. A demonstration of putting her words into action. And yet somehow I don’t think she would be thrilled if the government compelled her to share what she earned in this way.

Becasue that’s probably not what she had in mind right? She wants “the government” to provide the solutions. She just doesn’t recognize that “the government” is just we the people and money earned that is taxed.

The problem with relying on this form of socialism to fix every issue is you eventually run out of other people’s money.

I doubt most DCUMers realize this, but BTS has a few targeting the disillusioned youth experience. Most are a decade old now but still popular (in the Kpop world).

N.O., Not Today, Fire, Go Go, Silver Spoon, Ddaeng. Also some of the solo songs like Suga's Daechwita and JHope's Equal Sign (less a protest, more commentary).

We'll see what their new album includes in March after being in the military for 2 years.
