This is not good advice. Starting in 9th your tests are officially on your record. There are some schools (I'm looking at you Georgetown) that require you to send ALL your scores--not just your super score. So, taking it in 9th and not doing well (which is likly what is going to happen in English for your child) is not a good choice. Have her take practice tests, but don't do the official college board test unless you are sure she will do awesome or unless you are sure she is never going to apply to the schools that require you to send all your tests not just your best one.
