Gotta clean house. Can’t have people on these boards that put Trump above Virginians.

White is what suffragettes wore. As the first woman elected to be the governor, it was an intentional and symbolic move. Also, I’m guessing that she has more important things to worry about than how heavy she did/didn’t look as she was about to take on the highest elected position in the state.

Yes I figured that it was something performative like that. Still a mistake. She needs to pay more attention to how she looks. She’s not in little district of VA anymore.

Were you this outraged at Youngkin’s silly vests? I don’t care what color her suits are. At least she’s wearing professional attire.

Crawling into the nearest hole I hope.

He left because he was disgusted with Spanberger making decisions before she was actually sworn in as governor - and I don't blame him. She could have waited a day to reorganize but she chose not to. *shrug*

Almost like she came in with a “Project 2026” plan to reshape the government to suit her agenda? Hmmm.

Was there another option who stated he'd be happy if the kids of his opponent died, and his opponent shot?

No, but there was an opponent who was actively assisting ICE in terrorizing men, women, and children. But we know you’re already doing mental gymnastics to try to rank actual harm against actual people as less bad than theoretical harm against theoretical people because the real people deserve to die or something awful like that. Try not to get vertigo from all that spinning in your head!

Look, I can’t stand the guy. But this is not what you think it was. It is and has been protocol that the outgoing governor leaves right after the swearing in. He fully participated in the peaceful transfer of power without ill-will or petulance.

I doubt he cares, Trump was doing this months before he took office. What a weird comment.

Naw, he left because we were disgusted with him. Worst governor in Virginian history.

The other option was worse because Miyares did not sue to defend our state from arbitrary cuts to federal funding. If he actually sue over the research funding cuts and federal job losses I think he would have won reelection, but he was more concerned about political loyalty than protecting Virginia.
