I think there are several people who loved Offspring. I know i first heard of it here and now I'm one of the people who recommends it. FNL and Offspring are 2 of my all-time favorites. But I will caution that the Offspring pilot is bad, and the first season is the weakest of the series. So you have to give it a while.

I feel like whoever did these 3 shows did them so well.

Maybe a detective show like Annika? They solve a murder each week but that’s almost incidental to her relationships with her daughter, coworkers etc.
