Your kid is an adult and such as should understand weather delays happen and what to do in case of an emergency change.
OP here. I did not help him, he did everything himself. I am very proud of how he navigated everything considering it was his first solo flight, and an international one at that, and he has autism and ADHD, which makes him more liable to misunderstand people or miss things.
Mainly I posted because I can’t believe they made everyone wait in line for 6 hours for free rebooks! This has never happened to me, but then again, I’ve never been caught up in such weather problems.
