I have a friend who was obsessed with going to see male strippers. This was about 20 years ago, and I went with her two times. It was not my thing, but my friend LOVED it. This was also around the time when people were having sex toy parties, and I remember she had one, and she hired a male stripper to be the entertainment/treat for the guests.

Not while I was there and highly unlikely after I left. The real party girls were women I didn’t know.

There are male strip shows like the Chippendales. There are male escorts. A lot of the resorts on the Carribean islands have male escorts that can be booked for the week - and they get quite booked up. It was a whole industry I knew nothing about - but happened upon. And definitely male strippers at bachelorette parties and some birthday parties

The one time I participated in flirting with male strippers, it was really about virtue signaling to my girlfriends that we can do what any man can do. None of us was actually turned on or attracted, even though we were shrieking and giggling with objectively handsome muscular near-naked men. Men just aren't as physically alluring as women are, even to straight women.

A man gyrating has the same effect as a snake doing a mating dance: Fascinating in a clinical sense, yet distinctly repulsive at the same time.

I think I’d rather see something like a cabaret or artistic burlesque with attractive scantily clothed members of both sexes … I don’t really need to see anyone’s actual bits on stage.

A girlfriend and I went to watch a male burlesque dancer in the wayback and we were impressed by his dancing ability. He only stripped down to his underwear. I wouldn't go again, but it was far less gross than I expected.

I certainly wouldn't go to a total strip club, unless it was Stormy.
