jesus, 7000 for 2 people to go to Mexico/
For 2 weeks.
+1 people spend that for a week at Disney. 7k isn't bad for 2 weeks during the ultra peak tourist season.

We used Alaska companion fare to get it to half price ($2k), then had to change the ticket which added $1k total. Other than that, had to rent a car for a couple days ($200), went on an overnight excursion while there, which was about another $1000. Also bought incidental groceries/meals while visiting family. So, a little north of $6k?

Worth it bc only time adult children could come.

+1. We went to Colonial Williamsburg and it was like $700 bucks of all of us even though we splurged and got a carriage ride, but I know other people who spent like $10K to go to Disney.
+2 And I know people who went to Europe and Asia and it probably cost 20K for a family of 4. We went to Florida and stayed with relatives rather than a hotel, so it was maybe 2K for flights for the family/food/activities.
