Jennifer Aniston is a phenomenol comedic (and dramatic) actress; her timing is excellent and she can improvise (see Blue Blazer Black scene). Matthew Perry created the character of Chandler...his delivery, facial expressions, and ability to be sarcastic yet vulnerable is special. Matt LeBlanc is an excellent actor; his character had a lot of dimensions and depth, if you pay attention. Courtney Cox became Monica; she's honest and funny and manages to be likable despite being super type-A, etc. In my opinion, Phoebe is the worst character and, by far, the least likable, but I still think Lisa Kudrow is a great actor. No idea why so many on here claim she's the only one with talent. That's ridiculous. Her character had the least depth and changed the least over the course of the show.

Aniston and Kudrow have been good in numerous roles but nothing that wowed me.

Anonymous wrote:They worked great as an ensemble. Actual talent (in this order):
Aniston
Perry
Kudrow
Schwimmer
Cox
Leblanc
They all have their capacities.

Matthew created an entirely new cadence for the character of Chandler Bing. You can hear him emphasize the verb.
“Could I BE wearing any more clothes?”
That’s not the writers. That was Matthew Perry.

Maybe you should be followed by a camera at work so we can see how well you're doing in your chosen profession.
That would be surreal. And then to visit an anonymous message board 25 years after I left a job and strangers were like "I also think Larla in accounting was extremely endearing and efficient at her job---but she would just have been annoying to watch if Bob in H.R. had hired someone who was less of a fit"

+100. Terrible actor and terrible person. His ex wife is even worse.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:No idea about the quality of the acting, but I loved the characters of Chandler Bing and Phoebe Buffay. I'm a research scientist, and felt offended at how a PhD scientist was portrayed in the show. Poor David Schwimmer. I felt he had a terrible role.
Apparently, you missed The Big Bang Theory. 😂

It takes a talented actor to play dumb and also chauvanistic in a way that is funny, endearing and charming, with depth of character and sensitivity.
He is fantastic in Episodes.
