This. When you say "Springfield" you are talking about a big area. You cannot paint it with one brush. Daventry and the area around the golf course and west (Huntsman area) are definitely not a "bootyhole". The South Run area is not a "bootyhole" by any stretch.

The Springfield metro station is by far the sketchiest looking metro station in NOVA.

Over the past 20 years I've lived in Rosslyn, Clarendon, Falls Church, Vienna, and now -- as of this spring -- on the Occoquan River about halfway between Manassas and Woodbridge. And I've been just about everywhere in NoVA. The Dale City area of Woodbridge is quite awful, but I have an even more negative reaction when I drive through Springfield (which I sometimes do on my commute home when Waze takes me that way).
It's definitely a contender.
Are you the person who bought the new house and hates her new area but touts the size of her house and allegedly massive HHI? If so, not sure if we trust your judgment. I don’t love Springfield but it’s fine. At least it’s a decent commute.
And everyone who lives in Woodbridge seems to say they life in or near Occoquan.
What? No. We definitely do not have an "allegedly massive HHI" and my house is small.
Ah ok, my bad. There was a recent thread that someone started. She was trashing Woodbridge after…moving to Woodbridge.
