That is really unusual. Almost everyone wants to know who the coach will be, and see the coach at tryouts, before committing to a team. You might end up with a lousy Valor style parent coach otherwise.
If parents would just stick together and stop signing these offer letters before coaching slates were announced things would be much better.

Go to a smaller club, pay less, allow your child to develop and make friends and try again with the big boys at a future date. Don't waste your money, their time or their future, because they are only taking a 4th, 5th, 6th, and dare I say 7th and 8th team to increase their own paychecks, not to help your child to continue to improve

Some clubs have waited as long as May/June to announce.
