The official Chicago bookstore is boring, but the Seminary Co-op where you buy books for a lot of humanities classes was an amazing bookstore. I'm not sure if it's gone down hill since they moved out of the basement.

To me, a bookstore has a variety of items. Of course they have to have the requisite university clothing and nick knacks, but they also need to have interesting items. The Oregon Ducks bookstore has amazing art supplies, books, kids items, food… but the best thing about this store is the amazing sales they have throughout the year. You can get u of o swag at a very reasonable price if you wait for their sales. Buying on line is buying directly from the store. No overpriced Fanatics purchases. Some bookstores have terrible sales and barely mark down their prices. The Duck Store regularly has great prices. But you have to like the Ducks!

I live in Eugene. The UO bookstore does not really have books anymore. To me that makes it…not a bookstore. That said, I LOVE the downstairs and all the art supplies, etc.

Harvard’s bookstore is pretty good.

D1 state schools always have giant bookstores with brand collaborations. Lululemon, Faherty, etc.

Most of Div I schools have combined bookstores with Barnes and Noble at this point. There are few independent ones near campus.

And they aren't cheap, you can get the exact same clothing items for less at Fanatics.
