Basically i have to choose whether this students grades are useless or if my time is useless.

Couldn't the student get an incomplete for the MP2 until you they complete the work they missed while they were out?

I get having easy/review lessons or even playing movies, but to be already gone on vacation seems unprofessional.

Are you just a stay at home mommy? Stay in your lane.

Exactly! I can’t stand whiny parents like OP.

That is what your union agreed to.
You pick the BOE members.
This is totally under your control.

Not all teachers agree with the Apple Ballot. Please don’t group us all together.
You’re awful.

As mentioned above - people hate on teachers so bad!!!! We don’t get to hand pick the BOE. A lot of the BOE hate on teachers just like you do!

Actually you do. Your Apple Ballot hand picks, endorses and funds mailers to the homes of registered voters. Maybe you don’t live or vote in Montgomery County?

Meanwhile how many students will also be absent? How many students are chronically absent from school during the school year?

Parents seem to think it's fine to pull their students out whenever they choose but someone how a problem with teachers using their PTO as they choose. Someone is always on here trying to tell teachers about their professionalism or purpose.

Veteran teacher and I agree with this.

Ultimately, family and your own health will always be more important.

Teachers get three personal days per year. Some principals deny their use right before holidays but I don’t think that’s standard.
