I love both but mostly giving in to him.

Good for you (both), but again, this is trite. "Woman yields to classic man" is a romance novel, and not even an exciting one.

D/s like this is the new vanilla.

In my case two things: 1) it’s ridiculous—he’s stronger and bigger; 2) it’s a huge responsibility and takes a good bit of planning to actually do this lovingly, and sex is so relaxing when it’s not me who has to do this. It’s a little like any adrenaline sport, you have to think ahead in order to enjoy the adrenaline without enjoying a trip to ER. I plan much of our ski trips and many other things in life and it’s a gift to me that I don’t have to worry about the way we play with each other in private.

That said, sometimes I step into a more assertive role, it’s different but he loves it in small doses. It tends to happen if he’s tired or stressed out.

At least 3 former GFs asked to be tied up. One owned her own set of restraints and asked me to use them on her.

Others (including DW) expressed a preference to “be dominated” during s*x.

One asked me to wrestle with her, and when inevitably won, I was supposed to “do anything you want.”

We have played and it is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it is so exciting that regular quickies feel boring now, which kinda sucks.

I spent years as the 'dominant man' that was really just adhering to the gender role script.

I'd love to switch it up and be the submissive man, but then my wife would have to 'take charge', and she has no desire to put in that much effort.

She has gotten a little dominant in bed with me and I got to the point where I verbalized in bed that I wanted to be her slave. Our intimate life has gone cold, though. But I would definitely like to spice things up. Break out the crop that she has used on me once.
