I would rather be poor than give him a single cent.

Have you ever been poor?

New poster (to this thread). How do you choose funds to avoid investing in fossil fuels and legal drugs? I'd like to do similar but get overwhelmed trying to figure out what companies are in each fund, and then which products each company produces. Add in that fund managers change their basket of stocks, and it seems I'll loose. Sincere question because there are industries I really would rather not support.

Brilliant deflection. You circulate an even worse but related meme and then that is debunked and clouds the original bad action.

When it went public I couldn’t sell my shares for six months and the stock went down about 50% before I got ownership of my shares. I was still in the money and I decided to just hold on because I liked the race to space. The stock lingered in the single digits for quite a long time but over the last year it has risen to about $75 a share. My basis is about $3 so it’s been a huge win for me. I don’t plan on investing in SpaceX as it will be fully priced. I may reduce my Rocket position and realize a nice gain but I will stick with it.

How were you able to invest early in Rocket Labs?

Through a venture fund that does early stage investing.

+1 His IPO will likely crash and burn as his SpaceX rockets have done. He's ok while Trump is in office and can give him government contracts from our taxpayer dollars, but afterwards, who knows.

TSLA tends to be volatile, with big drops whenever Musk opens his mouth to say something controversial. And yet, the stock always bounces back.

At the same time, TSLA 333 PE ratio is all because of Musk hype. It’s clear Tesla won’t own EV market, won’t own self driving, so it’s all pinned on Optimus?

That's absolute bullsht

That's what people said about FSD, but look where we are now. Tesla stock hasn't been climbing for no reason the past few days.

FSD is vaporware that will kill people.

The stock is rising because some rubes believe he can make money on taxis
