I was going to say this! Yo can put a tiny McDonald’s toy in it if they have something he likes. I don’t know what it is about those stupid cheap toys that my kids love.

My mom kept a bunch of my favorite things from the 80s and there were 2 McDonald’s toys in that box, so I loved those toys too.

Stickers. My 2-year-old niece loves to put stickers all over herself. Doesn't matter what is on them, she just loves to peel and stick them.

Here is something my kid brought from preschool and loves:

Take a toilet paper tube, fill it with beans (not all the way). Shut the two ends with duct tape and you have your own homemade maraca.

I've always remembered an "America's Funniest Home Video" where a toddler opens a package to find a fancy dress on a plastic hanger and shrieks "I got a hanger!!" with glee as she holds it up and the dress falls to the floor.

A sack of dried beans.

We had a toy cement mixer truck that you could load with beans and have the beans extruded from the trough. Some pre-schools have sensory play stations that have dry rice or beans.
