You mean the other kid got 119 in NGAT got the in pool email??? That’s surprising…

That may explain my question. While my older one didn't get in pool with nnat 93%, and cogat 99%, my younger one get in pool with nnat 99% and ngat 142 (99>, 96, 99).

So most likely they do consider nnat from 1st grade.

In past years both the 2nd grade nnat and cogat were used. This year the 2nd grade ngat alone was used.

Are we sure about that? Did they update the screening website to indicate so?

This info comes from our AART on the AAP presentation. She specifically says NGAT is exclusively used this year for universal screening.

Yes our teacher said that as well.

I dont know if our school is weak cohort/year because I dont know anyone else who got the notifications. But that child got 99 percentile on NNAT which made to cut off. What I am trying to say is NNAT is also considered which is good for some kids who got high percentiles in NNAT..!!

Unlikely a 119 would be in pool unless maybe at one of the lowest performing schools in a particularly weak cohort/year.

I don't think the NNAT from last year was used to determine the pool--letter just mentioned the NGAT as the universal screener test.

In pool with 143 NGAT and 151 NNAT
