That’s too many, I think. I would tell her crushes are fine, also little secret admiring is fine, but once per week for a semester probably doesn’t feel good to him at all.

It's not romance if it's not reciprocated. I'd say one note is fine, a note daily is creepy.

My kid has and uses a locker. All the high schools around us have them.

My brother ended up marrying the girl who left anonymous notes in his locker in HS. They reconnected after completing college and hit it off. So who knows, maybe it will work out in the end.

My guess is that it’s because the kids don’t have textbooks anymore. That’s what we really needed lockers for back in the 1900s.

Seriously who uses "nerd" anymore except for someone who was proud to have "achieved" the top of the social hierarchy during their high school days

DP. My kids’ schools have lockers but the haven’t used them since pre-2020.

My teen’s HS has lockers. Catholic HS in DC area.

OP, I really don’t think this is a huge deal. I have teen boys. They might be flattered or indifferent, but they wouldn’t be freaked out. Kids tend to know who has a crush on whom; all their friends are talking about it anyway. He likely knows who it is.
