Affordability: President Trump gave a meandering speech at a casino resort in Mount Pocono, Pa., that was supposed to focus on affordability, an issue that has dragged down his approval ratings as costs and inflation have continued to rise. But he insisted that Americans were “doing better than you have ever done,” and mocked the term “affordability,” while veering off to opine on windmills, transgender people, the Middle East and Somalia.
The problem is that "meandering speech" needs to be in the headlines. People scanning headlines would think he's seriously addressing affordability and he's doing nothing of the sort.
So tired of the NYT and these outlets that STILL don't know how to report on the felon.
