I tried a stool softener yesterday AM. Nothing. Took miralax last night. Nothing. Drank coffee this AM (typically surefire for me.) Nothing. Ate a pear and a piece of seeded grain toast for breakfast. Nothing. Argh.

Not only am I uncomfortable, but I have "gained" 3lbs this week. I clearly need a better regime to avoid this in the future.

Do a colon clean out. 2 does miralax every hour for 8 hours plus 2 doses of laxative (1 morning, 1 afternoon). Drink tons of water. Repeat for 3 days until poo is clear “tea colored” no solids. Your colon is 5 ft long and sometimes gets build up and needs to be unclogged - well, mine does and my kid’s dies. This is what the doctor suggested. Then when cleaned out take 1 dose of miralax everyday for a month or two. Sit in the toilet everyday day at the same time. This retrains your entire system.

This result is so incredibly rare - far, far more likely that you’ve misunderstood the cause of the bag, the person who it happened to misunderstood, or you’ve exaggerated/made it up.

This. And not going for a few days is not a red flag of anything (without other issues) when on GLP. A week? Yes. You should be talking to your doctor.

You literally have to watch your diet.
The first time I time I experienced that I absolutely knew exactly what I ate that caused it.

Never again. I’m on Zepbound.
