pretty much that. the DEI rollbacks have revealed that male enrollment is dropping colleges once administrators rescind the mediocre quota.

Maybe it’s a coincidence, but I was at a gathering and someone (a young teen) made blatant racist statements right out in the open, like it was totally normal. I’ve never heard anything like that before. I was unprepared with a response and keep thinking about what I should or could have said.

Hasn't impacted my life but I know he has impacted other lives in a negative way and that's why I pledge to pay more attention to what I'm voting for going forward. Hope the rest of you do the same.

Very unhappy and counting days until it’s over. Hoping it ends sooner than I think, so damage is lessened.
High prices, more expensive health care, investments tanking, damage done international relations, hard to travel, education costs increasing, so much more.
Worst hit is our healthcare and science research. This will hurt for many years to come.

Trump's regime has definitely had a very negative direct impact on my life.

I lost my job to H1Bs. a none of the feds cared.

My spouse was laid off due to tariffs causing financial issues at his private sector company and none of the MAGAs cared.

I've cried probably every day since election day 2024.

It was trending below 2023, but after the NG the rate dropped by half. There is no way you can say with a straight face that it is less safer since the NG came if there are 25 murders in almost 4 months in a city that previously recorded 100 murders in 7 1/2 months. You can either say you don’t care or lie to yourself because you don’t want to concede a point that gives Trump a win, but you’d be factually incorrect.

Ok and what is the long term solution? NG cannot live here, I know one who will stop being paid the wage difference (she earns more than the NG pay in her normal job) after six months and start losing money. I don't even know if other employers pay the six months of wage difference the way ours does.

For the record, I just wanted them to fix the prosecution/conviction/no papering issues. Unclear if they did that, but of they have improved those issues at USAO, I do give credit there.

This may sound callous but those murders didn't really affect me. My contracts being cancelled, the government shutdown, the DEI muzzle, my LEGAL employees getting snatched off the streets, that all really affects me.
