+1. I know I was into a lot of this "telling the future" stuff in middle school. Then when random things happened I would smile smugly and say things like "just as the prophecy foretold".
Now I'm a completely normal adult. Don't stress it OP

Anonymous wrote:My family is Catholic and my grandmother and mom were super upset by the tarot and ouija board stuff. At least in our strain of Irish Catholicism, it’s considered really risky to tempt spirits that might be caught between worlds — like nothing good can come of that because if they were good spirits they’d be in heaven or doing their time in purgatory, so definitely you’re only going to hear from the really bad sorts. I don’t know what I think about that, but I think it’s at least something to consider, if you believe in spirits at all. It gave me enough pause that I started passing on that stuff at parties. If there are bad spirit, I really don’t want to be drawing their attention. Big no thank you on that. I’ve seen poltergeist.

I was into tarot at the same age. It led to strictly nothing except a few moments of joy. Let her enjoy herself with 100% harmless fun.
Would you rather she gets groomed on the internet, cyberbullies others, or shoplifts at the mall, like some classmates of my daughter's???
