I love my Hermes Jump boots as my errand running knee highs. For more dressy occasions I have a classic pair of Manalos bought in the early aughts. Their quality can't be bought even in the same brand anymore.

Maybe look for older styles (even new with tags) on Poshmark or eBay? You might get a great deal since most people aren't buying them.

Runway fashion is not the same thing as what will look fashionable on a DC mom working a corporate job or picking up her kids from school.
