Parent of a HS aged kid with an IEP. This will have no effect on him or us. Honestly, I found out about it here and am not following his social media posts. My kid is not personally hurt by this. To be perfectly honest, everyday teen banter is much much worse. They are pretty awful.

I agree that this is nothing new for him.

But if you read the whole tweet — start to finish — it really is wise that where he was previously. It’s incoherent. If a coworker sent a message like this, you would be calling HR, they would be out on leave pending a medical clearance and people would be discussing whether a protective order is warranted. It’s absolutely crazy. And anyone pulling out one or two offensive bits from this screed of vitriol and nonsense is undercutting the seriousness of the situation.
