Just let it be. My mother is like this and my DH is always trying to do what you do. Bottom line, she does not have the bandwidth to care about your family at all. She only cares about herself/her adult child living with her and her own problems. It’s not you, it’s her. LET IT GO and enjoy your lovely side of the family.

My literal dream would be if my PITA narcissistic family member would never contact me again if I dropped the rope. You should be counting your lucky stars!!!
