NYC. Buy your train tickets early and they will be cheape. Hotel will be your biggest expense so look at the Holiday Inn and Fairfield near sites. We did this last spring break and stayed 3 nights.

Orlando. You can usually find cheap flights. There are so many inexpensive time share rentals that have heated pools and lots of activities. Check out a site like redweek to rent one. You can also do 1 day at a theme park if your budget allows. We did this for spring break a few years ago and spent 1 day at Magic Kingdom.

+1 for Williamsburg. You have historic sites and Busch Gardens.

Take the Amtrak to NYC for a few days.

Depending on the weather, Hershey, PA is another similar suggestion to Williamsburg.

What is your budget? If you really want FL, have you looked for flights on off days? Like leaving Sunday or Monday and coming back Thursday? We’ve sometimes found deals that way.

+1 to both of these suggestions. Last time we did Williamsburg we skipped Great Wolf Lodge and stayed at Kings Mill for some discount rate. Still overpriced but had bike rentals, indoor and outdoor pool, etc.

We just went to Florida on a Hilton Grand Vacations deal. You have to listen to a timeshare presentation for a couple hours but still worth it to us.

Can’t guarantee it so it’s dicey.

No one is swiming in March in Florida

It really depends.

My family usually swims in Miami and the Keys over spring break. And we’ve had surprisingly warm weather in SC over spring break (it’s hit or miss; I mean, people were on the beach in SC during Thanksgiving week, and I was in a tank top at one point).

We just got back from Florida for Thanksgiving and the weather was really nice. We drove, used points for hotels for the entire week, did one day Disney and one day LEGOLAND and spent only about $2,500
