It’s a crush but more along the lines of admiration. There is a neighbor I admire but we are both married so we just wave hello. Nothing more.

My son’s former coach. Have fantasized about him going on 5 years. I would never act on it and I’m assuming this is a story as old as day. Ran into him recently and we hugged for just a second longer than we should have. That was nice.

My first crush as a tween was Gene Kelly. Also I liked Paul McCartney. Weird to me that I liked them - maybe I was drawn to their talent?

My husband knows this, I suspect the friend knows this. He lives across the country from us now and I wouldn’t act on it anyway.

This has happened to me -- it was really intense. I think it's a thing. They are saving you, and they also just are handling your body is this very visceral way. You have to trust them. You have to give your body to them for a while.
It faded after a few months, luckily.
PP here and yes, it totally faded. I had to go in for a follow up a couple months later to make sure I was in the clear, and while I was still very grateful to him (and feeling super embarrassed by the memory of my very intense feelings for him previously), it had pretty much gone away and normalized.
I feel like it must happen all the time. This particular surgeon had amazing bedside manner, even my DH commented on how comforting and reassuring he is. I bet lots of his patients have fallen for him.

Various crushes through the years but didn't act on them - a client who was much younger than me, a healthcare employee who was helping me through a long recovery process, and an employee of a building I lived in.

Many times and I'm pretty sure some people were attracted to me a few times when they weren't supposed to be.
