Here's my meal plan for the week. The things after the asterisk are what I need to buy.
1) Chicken cacciatore over polenta; bagged salad
*chicken thighs

* mushrooms
* red bell pepper
* parsley

1a) Stock from leftover chicken thighs
* more celery
* garlic
2) Pork Chops, potatoes; roasted frozen cauliflower
*frozen cauliflower
3) Salmon (or whatever on sale fish), quinoa pilaf, asparagus
* Fish
* Asparagus (or whatever loss leader)
* big bag o carrots
* lemons
3) Fajitas, peppers and onions; rice and beans
* loss leader steak
* red, yellow peppers (or green only)
* rice
* tortillas
4) Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese with a hearty bagged salad
* cheddar cheese
* milk
5) Split Pea and Lentil Vegetable Soup, drop biscuits
* ham hock
* butter
Lunches: leftovers; or sandwich + fruit
PB and J - have everything
Tuna salad- have everything
Fruit: apples, oranges
