If you can stomach going in there, the Kennedy Center during non-performance times is great for this. Wide open hallways, and babies can pull up on the side of the accessibility ramps leading to the theater lobbies.

That’s right on schedule. Mine sat unassisted at 4 mos., crawled by 6 mos., pulled up and cruised around 8 mos. and walked soon after they turned 1.

Huh? Not knowing basic facts about babies is MAGA? Conservatives tend to have (slightly) more babies…and, if anything, may tend to be less neurotic about germs…

Little gym/my gym/gymboree for babies
Also, not sure if you’re a sahm or not but if you are join a moms group if there is one in your area. You can do meetups with other moms with babies at each others houses or apts. when DD was 8 mos I joined one and just meeting up once or twice a week in someone’s living room for an hour was so nice.

I'm trying to find more places we can take her too that she can crawl around and explore. I live in NW DC, but I'm willing to travel outside of the city in any direction.
So far we've taken her to library events, the playground, and indoor playgrounds (like scramble and the children's museum).
The problem with the indoor playgrounds, is that they don't do a good job making sure the bigger kids don't enter the crawling baby area. She gets intimidated when they start running around, and doesn't want to explore anymore. I also have to constantly pull her out of the way to make sure the other kids don't run her over or accidentally hurt her. I would love a space that's just for kids under 3-4, or a place where the staff enforces the age rules for the different play spaces.
We've also tried the Toy Nest. I love it, but she's not into toys so much at the moment. She wants things she can climb on, and pull herself up to stand on, and explore.

Whoever is being critical of this parent clearly hasnt had a kid in this age range recently. OP 100% feel you. This was a tough stage where they just wanted to move and put stuff in their mouths and the winter was hard.
Things that work for us:
- try the MoCO libraries too- Bethesda, Silver Spring, Wheaton. We went through a stage where he just wanted to pull all the books down, but it worked for awhile.
- The Silver Spring rec center has a indoor playground that is pretty empty usually. Free for MoCO residents, not sure on the cost if not a resident.
- National Children's museum has 2 areas for younger kids. Still alot of active ones around but if you go early they arent crowded.
- Little town in Bethesda is better once a bit older but has a few places for that age.

I usually only hear “bored” from entitled teens LOL! It’s hard to believe a baby is bored unless they literally stop and sit and just look at you. And the apartment is no excuse; even people with larger homes keep a baby confined to a smaller, baby-proof area.
But if you feel that’s what you are picking up from your baby, then You’ve got a long 17 more years to go.

Maybe it's the toys you have? Everyone has been there done that on toys they spend time with v those that just occupy space. 1 minute see and ignore v frequent go backs after you reset the stuff post demolition. Change where you have fun toys stashed in your house and create fun spots to crawl or toddle to. Rotate toys. Move around a crawl in pack n play with varying objects. At that stage we let ours loose in people's houses - select relatives and those with peer age kids usually. No public places on the floor. Spaces for walking running preschool age kids is not a space where I'd put a crawler/emerging walker.
