You can't compare Dartmouth to Michigan or any other Big Ten school not named Northwestern. They are nothing alike in prestige, selectivity, social scene, etc.

Dartmouth is closer to Michigan than Northwestern.

Quarter system.
Rigor.
Small cohorts of white private school kids who run the social scene.
Greek life thriving (and somehow growing)
