Michigan St, Mississippi St, Missouri St.? I ask only because we know DC classmates who applied to the first two!

All good choices and super nice Merit Award. 😃

My kid, is now only considering one of her EA schools as a possible option. If she doesn’t get in, she will enroll in her rolling admission school. She loves to be loved by a school she likes, and is giving her a lot of merit aid Win win for us!

Yes!! This was our DC1 who said “Love the school that loves you!” Junior there and lovin’ it. No regrets!

And another reason to stay positive about OOS or privates that can, with merit, be +/- the same as “in-state.”

Many congrats!

That’s great! Acceptance rate was 85% in 2021- but it was only 50% last year. It’s not as easy anymore to get in according to our HS counselors.

Alabama still has a 77% average rate. A lot of reason kids are heading south- not the weather.

More than one poster with same two acceptance? Overlap schools?

Same 2 schools for my DD. She wants larger schools, and these two are strong schools that make decisions early, and that she would be happy to attend.

Congrats to all the kids who've gotten good news! It's great to get the rolling & extra-early acceptances. It lets families relax a little, especially if they have other EA schools that don't release until January or February!!
