Don't date anyone who says they are "separated." It's best to wait for the actual divorce. They may actually be separated, they may not actually be separated, or they may decide they like having two partners who don't know about each other.

Even if he was completely single, why would you want a man who only gives you dribs and drabs of his time? And won’t talk to you about an important issue you bring up? But yes, he is either still married or potentially balancing a number of women at the same time or has some other secret life he doesn’t want you to know about.

Run, and then get to a therapist to work on your own self esteem and boundaries.
