Maybe this thread isn't for you.

Small-batch, locally fresh roasted per pound prices are indeed very high now, but bulk beans from Costco are still not budget-busting.

Coffee is a luxury anyway; nobody "needs" to consume it, so while we may wish it was less expensive we are not actually substantially adversely impacted if we give it up.

And, you can always drink less expensive alternatives, like instant coffee, and coffee made from less costly Robusta beans instead of pricier Arabica varieties.

I can’t believe all the aoologists for the ridiculous price hikes we’re seeing.

What can be done? It's because of the stupid tariffs. People aren't going to be able to buy any food in a few weeks. Coffee is the least of our worries.

Yes "just don't buy x" gets ridiculous when X is turning into everything. Just don't buy coffee, meat, fruits, veggies, etc.

I've made some food bank donations but the reality is food is costing them more and no amount of individual donations is going to make up the devastating cuts in BBB and the loss of SNAP next month.

Beef has gotten a bit expensive but still that's a once a week item anyway and you should only be eating about 6oz a serving it should not break the bank.

Punctuation is free.

But unnecessary for the mentally unstable and those who took their meds today.

Not around me. Over $10 for a 12 oz bag.

Coffee is good for your liver - it is more of a necessity than you might think

I’ve been noticing coffee prices climbing. A regular size bag of Starbucks is $14.99 at my Target—that’s new. It will take a lot for me to cut back but I’m spending more.

Tea has gone up too. Black tea isn’t a common crop in the US and is overwhelmingly imported. Like coffee. Tariffs are hitting coffee and tea hard.

This is likely true. But you forgot the fact that tea is Garbage Water.

I can understand that people who are out of work right now are anxious about their expenses, but all these threads about food prices are overly dramatic.

Yes there is inflation, but for the moment it's quite contained. People who are struggling with food prices now are operating on exceptionally tight budgets.
